SEO: Content Workbooks
SEO content workbooks are the final step in creating an SEO strategy - once you have it, you're ready to execute your plan via regular articles/blog posts! There are many parts to a Content Workbook.
Using Keywords to Determine Topics
When creating content, you want to write about things that your audience - and potential customers - will find easily and regularly. These articles should be relevant to the rest of your brand; if you're a hair brand, then you'll want to write all about hair. If you're a line with multiple products, then you may have multiple pillars, like skincare and brow care.
Using your keyword and competitor analyses, I'll find the right keyword to target - especially keywords with low keyword difficulty and high search volume. I'll then find other, secondary keywords related to the target, and headings that guide the reader through your article (and cover relevant information, so they don't have to search elsewhere!).
Pillar and Content Tactic
The other important part of an SEO Content Workbook: addressing which pillar the article goes toward, as well as the tactic for each article. For example, is an article meant to round up products for a "Best of" article? Or is it informative, by teaching your audience how to do a cut crease with glitter?
If you have customers who love your product, you may choose to have them write an article about why they love it so much. Aside from being great user-generated content, it's a way to connect with your audience and share their real stories. Think of it like a testimonial, but with more detail and personality added in!
It's also possible that you have old articles that could target a keyword, or be refreshed/rewritten. I can include these, too! Plus, avoiding content decay is always a good thing. These are addressed in your website quality audit.
